Handmade Screenprinted Reproductive Rights Tank Muscle Tee - Prochoice Womens Rights My Body My Choice

I have a small batch of muscle tank tops (Bella Canvas) that I personally pulled and printed. The design is approximately 10.5"x5.5". I designed the image myself, and then used photo emulsion printing methods to create my screen, and hand printed at my home studio. Note that since these are small batch and hand done, there are variations in each print making each one unique. Some lines are thicker/thinner, depending on how consistent my pull was!

About the design...
As I drew this I was very particular about the flowers that I chose and deliberate in their placement as a replica of the female reproductive anatomy. The anemone, gladiolus, and ivy all have special representation. Anemone is symbolic of protection, arrival of spring, and the loss of loved one. Gladiolus is symbolic of strength, integrity, and ivy represents fidelity, staying power. Flowers represent growth and new life, and in this format signify the ability for women to bring forward new life. At the same time we own our own bodies and can choose whether or not to create life. There is strength in that choice, and power in enduring the fight.
